I am happy to have you join us for this important and potentially life-changing experience hosted by the American Bar Association through the Council for Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO).
This event is free of charge, with light snacks, light breakfast and lunch included. Please remember these bus seats are valuable resources not to be reserved and then wasted. Please note that you may sign up ONLY if you are sure that you will be attending. No-show will result in your being disallowed on any future UC Merced-funded law trips. Please also note that dinner is not included, and we will make a fast food stop on the trip home if you can bring a few dollars, or please bring some extra snacks so that you will not starve.
6:00 a.m. departure from UC Merced; approximately 9:00 return time to campus. You may bring a pillow and a blanket and sleep on the bus so that you'll be fully rested and alert for the day's program. There is a tiny bathroom on the bus for wardrobe change and freshening up on the road.
Regarding your transportation to campus: If you live off campus and do not have a car, I will need to hear from you BEFORE FINAL EXAMS via e-mail. That will give me time to help ride-match you with someone. I will not be helping anyone find a ride in the final 36 hours prior to this trip (some of you were e-mailing me in the final 10 hours last year!) -- there will be no last-minute arrangements. I can give rides to a couple of you who make early requests, and you have peers who are likely to be kind enough to do the same if you live in their neighborhood. Plan ahead, and all will go well.
Before you reserve your bus seat, you need to sign up with CLEO here.
